Founded by Michael Hombach’s family to provide scholarships to students studying education or behavioral health.

Michael worked for Frederick County Public Schools for 24 years in various positions including as a therapist, pupil personnel worker and assistant principal. He was also a Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical, and counseled individual clients for more than two decades. In honor of his most recent service as vice principal at Urbana High School and Walkersville High School, this scholarship will support graduating seniors from those schools who plan to study education or behavioral health at a college or university within the state of Maryland.
