Founded by the Yellow Springs chapter of Lions Club International to provide grants to Community Living, Inc., Day Break Adult Day Services, Inc., Leader Dogs for The Blind, Inc., and Lions Club International Foundation.
The Yellow Springs Lions Club was chartered in 1958 with 23 members, growing to as many as 40 members. With the closing of the club in 2022, the Yellow Springs chapter of Lions Club International created this fund with the intention of continuing the support of local community activities and programs. The Lions meet the needs of local communities and the world every day because they share the core belief of serving their communities through humanitarian services.
