FREDERICK, MD – March 23, 2023: The Mary L. Fiumara Scholarship Fund has been established with The Community Foundation of Frederick County and becomes one of its more than 770 component charitable funds.
Established by Paul A. Fiumara in memory of his wife, The Mary L. Fiumara Scholarship Fund honors her passion for Catholic education. The fund awards scholarships to parishioners of St. Timothy Roman Catholic Church to attend Catholic grade school or high school in Frederick County. Mary was a founding and active member of St. Timothy’s parish. Her commitment to Catholic education will continue through the scholarships, providing parish children with a strong foundation in faith, moral values, and academic knowledge.
