FREDERICK, MD – Jan. 8, 2025: Local nonprofits that provide direct benefits to Frederick County residents are encouraged to apply for grants from The Frederick Mutual Insurance Company Donor Advised Fund at The Community Foundation of Frederick County during the month of January.
Frederick Mutual Insurance Company established this fund in 1994 with a $150,000 contribution as part of the company’s 150th anniversary celebration with the purpose of providing financial support for the Frederick County community.
Applications will be accepted for programs and services for nonprofits working in the fields of human services, education, and historic research. Applicants must identify the specific impact that their organization will have on Frederick County. Applicants can access the online application at www.FrederickCountyGives.org/grants. The application closes on Jan. 31. Details about the application, including eligibility requirements and other information, can be found at the same web address.
