FREDERICK, MD – July 21, 2017: Grants totaling $1,228.26 from The Halleman Family Fund were presented to Friends of Carroll Creek Urban Park, Inc. to support its Color on the Creek initiative, and The Flowers Over Frederick Fund, to support its downtown Frederick hanging flower basketprogram. The Halleman Family Fund, one of more than 679 funds managed by The Community Foundation of Frederick County, was created by Diana Halleman with her 2014 Wertheimer Fellow for Excellence in Volunteerism award to support community projects, including beautification efforts.
