The family of Michael A. Hombach is honoring his memory and life of service with an annual scholarship for Frederick County Public Schools students. Mike was a Frederick County Public Schools team member for 24 years serving during his career at numerous schools throughout the county. In recent years, he was a vice principal at Urbana High School and most recently at Walkersville High School. He cared about young people in Frederick County and worked hard to help them succeed and find their path in life.
