Memorial Contributions for John “Jack” Tritt
Jack will be deeply missed for his kindness, leadership, and the strong relationships he built, especially during his six years on the Community Foundation’s board of trustees, where he served as secretary and chaired the scholarship committee. The family will decide at a later time which of the Foundation’s 800+ funds will benefit from the many memorial gifts being given in his honor, ensuring that his legacy continues to support the community he cared so much about. The family of Michael A. Hombach is honoring his memory and life of service with an annual scholarship for Frederick County Public Schools students. Mike was a Frederick County Public Schools team member for 24 years serving during his career at numerous schools throughout the county. In recent years, he was a vice principal at Urbana High School and most recently at Walkersville High School. He cared about young people in Frederick County and worked hard to help them succeed and find their path in life.
