FREDERICK, MD – June 16, 2022: John J. and Gail K. Slezak have created two scholarship funds with The Community Foundation of Frederick County to support music education, becoming two of its more than 750 component charitable funds.

Mr. Lajewski looks forward to attending the Brunswick High School senior awards ceremony where he has the pleasure of announcing scholarships in his late wife’s honor.
June is Pride Month – a time to celebrate the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ+) community. Pride Month commemorates years of struggle for civil rights and the ongoing pursuit of equal justice for LGBTQ+ people. The Community Foundation is proud to support programs at The Frederick Center through funds created by Wertheimer Fellows.
