FCARe Fund Established at Community Foundation

FREDERICK, MD – June 15, 2021: The FCARe Fund has been established at The Community Foundation of Frederick County and becomes one of its more than 740 component funds. Founded by the Frederick County Association of Realtors (FCAR), the donor-advised fund’s purpose is to further carry out the Community Foundation’s mission by providing grants to local nonprofit organizations. Preference will be given but not limited to providing grants to nonprofits serving Frederick County.

A New Generation of Philanthropy

Born and raised just north of Libertytown, Ashley Goldsborough wears many hats. Mother to an active 3-year-old-old daughter, Ashley is also a 15-year employee of First United Bank, an active community volunteer, and a proud supporter of The Community Foundation of Frederick County.

Women’s Giving Circle Provides $245,092 in Grants

FREDERICK, MD – June 4, 2021: The Women’s Giving Circle of Frederick County announces that 30 grants totaling $245,092 have been presented to 20 area nonprofits serving women and their dependents. The grants are provided from The Women’s Giving Circle of Frederick County Fund, one of more than 740 component funds of The Community Foundation of Frederick County.
