FREDERICK, MD – Feb. 7, 2022: The Good Neighbor Fund for Seniors has been established with The Community Foundation of Frederick County and becomes one of its more than 750 component charitable funds.
Founded by longtime donor Donald C. Linton and funded in part by The William E. Cross Special Needs Fund, The Good Neighbor for Seniors Fund will support individuals 60 years of age or older who are in crisis and in need of financial assistance. Grants from this fund are intended to make a difference in the recipients’ quality of life, living situations, and ability to sustain themselves. The impact from this fund will benefit the Frederick County senior community for generations to come. Individuals who qualify may apply through a nonprofit organization during the annual impact grant cycle.
